How Much Would it Cost to Construct a Red Brick Home in Lagos?

Post by Maclatunji » Sat May 13, 2017 9:25 pm

I have always wondered if the cost of building a red brick 3 bedroom home in Lagos would be cheaper than the cement bricks we use in most parts of Nigeria.

Who knows? Can we have a cost comparison?

By Red Brick, I mean like em London ones not Ile Alamo.

You have asked a valuable a question. I think the red brick is quite expensive compared to the cement bricks. This reason may not be far-fetched, looking at the advantages the red brick has over the cement brick.

Being a real estate investor, sometimes ago, I considered building a modest bungalow with the red bricks and from the info I got from a maker of red bricks, the prices were higher than that of cement bricks and I feel it still remain the same now.

Though I don't have the relevant information in this area now, I think as more contributors come here, we should be able to have more information.

Till then, I will keep digging for more information on red brick cost in Nigeria.
